Title: 1907 AMERICAN LAFRANCE FIRE ENGINE LANTERN Description: Presented for your consideration is this 1907 AMERICAN LAFRANCE FIRE ENGINE LANTERN. This kerosene lantern says ELMIRA,N.Y on the front of it along with "American LaFrance Fire Engine Co. Inc." On the back of the lantern it says"Dietz"and on the top of the base it says"Dietz King Fire Dept." On the top t is also a "Patented A ug,20 1907 date. The lantern is nickle plated over brass. This lantern is complete and is in very good condition with some slight rust from age. The lantern measures 14 1/2" tall x 8" wide. Please see pictures and feel free to email us with any question.
