Exceedingly RARE Antique,c.1917 *KUTCH SANDALWOOD* Perfume Bottle,and Presentation Box,by "AA VANTINE'S".A very nice, VERY hard to find crystal glass,commercial "Vantine's" perfume bottle,with frosted stopper,and cork lined,ground dauber . Although slightly worn,bottle still retains original "VANTINE'S" embossed collar,and picturesque label from circa,1917!!! Label reads, "VANTINE'S KUTCH SANDALWOOD AA VANTINE & CO. NEW YORK". In the center is a picture of a sailboat,sailing,and with what appears to be a mountainous volcano,with smoke billowing out of the top,and 4 trees,or pillar-type images,in the background. (Please do not hold me to my description of this label's picture,as in my mind's eye,this is what I see. The label is slightly worn,and I could be wrong in what I am visualizing),Thanks :)!!The beautiful frosted stopper is shaped like a small Oriental boat,and has a cork lined dauber.This unusual bottle measures almost 3 1/4" including stopper x a little over 2" wide.Included,is the presentation box! Beige colored box,with thick,and thin gold colored lines,in a checkered pattern. A very pretty surface textured decoration,covers the entire top portion of the box,and covers the all gold sides,on the bottom portion.The backside of the box is showing some water,or perfume stains. Box is completely intact,with no tears,or splits.
