Up for bid is a Vintage (approx. 1920) A. W. Wadsworth folding deer foot knife with corkscrew. This knife was given to me by my father in law. He is a 27 year green beret veteran and keeper of military trinkets. This knife was obtained during one of his military assignments in Germany and has lived in a small protective bag for the past 35 years. Although the blade is tarnished and in need of polishing, I don't think the knife has seen much use. The fur on the deer foot is still thick and coarse in most places as can be seen in some of the detailed pictures below. Some of the fur even still hangs over the knife handle edge. It surely would have been worn quickly off with regular use. All components operate smoothly and strong. The blade locks strongly and releases with a lift of the release on the backside of the guard. If you have any questions feel free to e-mail me. I will answer them as best as I can.
