For auction is a great vintage automobile speedometer. This superb is a Stewart & Clark Mileage Recorder and piece has a top speed of 60 MPH. The front bezel is made of brass, as is the entire body of this gauge. The MODEL number is 11 G 706. The glass face is beveled on the edge, and it shows some nicks and chips and scratches. This piece is very very heavy for its size. The piece is used and shows wear, and has original unpolished patina, see photos. The brass bezel measures 4 1/8 inches in diameter, and the bezel has 1 crack that measures about 3/8 of an inch, due to the fact it was taken off at one time and then pushed back on as its not perfectly aligned where it should be. The gauge from front to back including the mounting bracket measures 5 3/4 inches deep. Great vintage part for restoration or ratrod. See my other auctions for more cool stuff.
