Antique 1920's Effanbee 28" Large Composition/Cloth Doll This vintage doll belonged to my Mom's cousin, Alice Carter. This doll was her childhood doll back in the 1920's. She bequeathed all of her dolls to me before her death in 1994 at the age of 78. I am selling most of them in hope that they go to a good home. I am not a doll collector, but I will do the best I can to describe her. She is made by Effanbee and has " Effanbee" marked on the back of her neck. She measures 28 inches in length. She appears to have her original dress, undergarments, socks, and leather mary jane shoes. One shoe is missing the sole. She is in very good condition with some very light cracks on her arms and face. Her eyes open and close. Her hair is separate from her body. She seems to have a crying mechanism on her back, however she doesn't make a sound. She has no odors, or any major flaws. She has a few stains on her dress. I do not know her name at this point, and I would be very grateful if you could share that information with me.
