Mirabet, this is an antique vaudeville theater poster advertising "The Bhuda" (Buddha), a magic show presented by the touring company "Chang and Fak-Hong's United Magicians." Chang & Fak Hong were traveling magicians on the circus and early vaudeville theater circuit, known in Spanish as the Hermanos Roca . The text in the margins reads "Lit. Hija E. Mirabet, Pizarro. 29 Valencia. Made in Spain." The image features a Chinese magician conjuring a skeleton and a snake from a magic box, with green and blue dominating in the background, and skeletal dragons and other symbols of the macabre floating around.
