* Very Unique *This is an Original Painting - Signed by L.L.Bfrom the year 1922This is an amateur , hand painted , attempted replica , of the famous painting " The Lost Playmate " by Gustave Henry Mosler. This painting is signed by L.L.B. in 1992.The painting is quite obviously not the quality of the original Artist, Gustave Henry Mosler, however the subject matter is still quite obvious & evokes the same intended emotion as the original. I have provided close-up photos of the Black Lab, Flowers, Pillow, Signature, 3 corners of painting illustrating cracks/blemishes, etc..I have disclosed any/all imperfections and/or standard observances noted during inspection & photography. This painting was purchased recently from a local estate sale located on the central Oregon Coast.This painting is in an antique wooden frame with a multi-color patination.There is no frontal glass. There is no backing. This is canvas in a frame. There was brown paper covering the back, however most has worn off due to age & antiquity.
