ANTIQUE 1927 WEDGWOOD CAMELIA 10¼ in DINNER PLATE
This listing is for ONE WEDGWOOD CAMELIA dinner plate c.1927, 10¼" in diameter. It is one of eleven that I currently have for sale, which were kept in a china closet and never used. The marks on the back include: stamped, "CAMELIA ~*~ WEDGWOOD ~*~ ETRURIA ENGLAND", impressed, "4TD...M", "WEDGWOOD", "MADE IN ENGLAND", and hand written in green, "A7745...2". Not all of the impressed marks are complete on all plates, so the one you purchase may have only portions of some marks. The pattern is one of Wedgwood's loveliest in my opinion, featuring detailed deep pink and yellow roses, beautiful shaded green leaves, and deep pink and yellow scrolling acanthus leaves. The base of the pattern is a rich brown transfer that is meticulously hand painted - you can feel the raised paint under the glaze! It is as perfect as the day it was made.
I DO combine shipping for multiple purchases but will have to adjust the invoice manually, so please wait for my invoice before paying.
