ANTIQUE 1930'S DRESDEN PLATE QUILTw FOUR PETAL FLOWERS*

WELCOME to our site* Today for your consideration,and offered at No Reserve, we have for you an* Antique Dresden Plate with Four Petal Flowers Quilt* that is Absolutely Gorgeous* It is handquilted at 9-10spi. The measurements are 76in.x79 inches which is a Full or Queen size.*The entire quilt is made of cotton with beautiful feedsack*and period prints and solids of the 1930's! The thin batting is also cotton. When held up to the light you can see how the cotton batting has thinned and shifted over time. The Twenty colorful plates measure twelve inches. The wider border on the sides of the quilt and the 1/2 inch trim on the top and bottom ends of the quilt are done in the same*Bright Pink that is used for the 9&1/4 inch four petal flowers. T are also pink two petal flowers along the border and a single pink petal at each corner. BEAUTIFUL*The reverse and the ground are white. The colors in this quilt are of the rainbow! Pinks, blues, yellows, lavender, reds and more! Yes, the edges are frayed some (mostly on the top and bottom edges) but could easily be replaced if you wish to do so. Throughout this quilt I found nineteen individual blocks missing from various plates. It looks as though they were removed due to worn fabric because on a few of these areas t is a bit of the fabric left w is was handstitched to the next block(see photo). These missing blocks were*Very Hard to spot because with the ground being white and all the other bright colors to catch your eye they more or less just blended in or disappeared! These could be replaced also if you wish to do so. With such a beautiful piece of artwork it would be worth the time however, this quilt is strong and sturdy and very useable just as it is! As you can see it would make a *Stunning wallhanging! The handquilted florals that run throughout the border are esquisite and the tiny handstitching is meticulous. T are *No stains, holes, or rips. For it's age I consider this quilt to be in *Excellent Condition* and it is very clean with no foul or musty odors :o) Please see photos and email any questions you have.
