Up for your consideration is this fabulous vintage 1930's Lindstom "The Maid". Wind up the key in the maid's back ...she sweeps with the broom as she shuffles back and forth. Her tin lithographed body consists of a peach-colored blouse, green & yellow stripes on off-white pantaloons, red skirt, aqua neckerchief and red shoes, sleeves and hat...A yellow broom and white apron with a dog and a pocket with bow finish the look. This adorable blond-haired betty is in excellent condition...a tiny rust spot behind her left ear (see picture #2). The windup mechanism works perfectly and the toy is complete, including broom and arms. This 70-plus-year old windup toy is 8-inches tall and 3-1/2-inches wide. "LINDSTROM MADE IN U.S.A." is printed on the maid's back by the skirt hem. A really wonderful addition to your vintage windup tin lithograph toy collection. Thanks for Looking!
