Details….History….Description: Today for auction we have a stunning Art Deco Egyptian Revival bracelet! Made circa 1940, everything about this piece was made completely from hand. The piece is made of solid 14k yellow gold and features stunning gem stones. The piece features hand etched scarabs on top of each gem stone featured. The gem stones are cabochon cut and approximately 3/4 of an inch long by 1/2 an inch wide. There is a lovely orange Carnelian gem stone, a Black Onyx, a Moonstone, Chrysoprase, and an orange Rose Quartz featured in this bracelet! The bracelet is made of solid 14k yellow gold and features stunning thick links that are sturdy and elegant. The piece has a regular "C" clasp that works perfectly. *Due to the age of some of these pieces some items will not be stamped. The National Stamping Act was not enacted until 1906, before 1906 jewelry was not legally required to have a karat mark. This is one way to date items prior to the Art Nouveau time period.
