Antique 1940's Japanese Cryptomeria (Japanese Cedar) - Hannya Noh Mask This is for a 1940's or earlier Cryptomeria Wood - Hannya Noh Mask. This mask is hand crafted and made cryptomeria wood. It was found in an estate with many other 1940's - 1950's Japanese and oriental treasures. I was told that the woman who owned this mask got it from her Grandpa who was in WWII and/or Korean war and sent many items back from over seas. The mask has 2 tags taped on the back showing "Cryptomeria Wood Mask - Japan - 1948 - From Grandpa", and another that says "From our home to yours Christmas 1983". The mask is dusty and should be cleaned by the buyer. I do not work with wood and I wanted to keep this mask as original as I found it. There are a few fine cracks (approximately 1" to 2" long) and a small chip near the right side of the mouth but is in good condition overall. Shipping is $11.50 for Medium Flat Rate Priority mail and packaging because it gets handled less but I am willing to ship economy. If you would like me to ship economy I will have to calculate the cost before payment. The mask is approximately 11" tall and 6" wide.
