For your consideration a vintage 1940's A-1 Pilsner Beer porcelain sign. Fresh from a local estate. The sign is in great condition. It is made of heavy metal and has a porcelain coating. It is single sided. It has 14 mounting holes around the outer edge and six on the inner part. It has two 1 1/2" in diameter holes on the inner part where the neon came through. The neon is missing. It think this sign had an inclosed can on the back originally for the transformer and neon works. There are some small chips in the porcelain around some of the holes. It still displays great. It measures 38" in width by 26 1/4" in height. I would say it is from the 1940's. I have never seen this particular sign before and it is pretty neat. An excellent addition to any vintage breweriana or advertising collection or if you just want to own a really neat old sign. I am selling this item with no reserve.
