The Whisperings of Love Cupid is whispering in the ear of a beautiful maiden daydreaming of her love. *** (Inspired by this 1889 Bougeureau painting perhaps...) *** The sculptor has done a lovely job of portraying Cupid fluttering in the air behind the lady, whispering tenderly in her ear. She is lost in a daydream, under Cupid's spell. Late 1800s High Quality French Biscuit A large piece -- at 16" tall, it is striking on display. *** Condition Excellent, with good repair to Cupid's bow and one flower petal; minor gold rubbing to base.
