This Victorian figure depicts a lady figure skater who lost her footing and fell rump over teakettle. Though still appearing to be in fine, festive spirits, the young lady inadvertently exposed her pantaloons. Given the prim Victorian sensibilities, a figurine showing any underclothing (and ankles!) would have been considered a little risque and naughty. In overall very good condition with some small losses to the blades on her skates. Tiny losses to her thumb and index fingers. There is a small flake to the edge rim of her dress hem. This condition is consistent with age and use. Measures 3 3/4" tall x 2 1/2" x 4 1/4". This fun novelty figurine will make an eye-catching decoration in your home.
