Victorian Mourning Pins Lot This auction is for a magnificent lot of period Victorian Era mourning pins. Circa mid-19th century. Each of these stunning pieces features faceted French jet black glass pieces in varying shapes and sizes. Included in the lot are four complete pins, all of which have early metal prong settings and c-style closures, and one larger piece. The large round piece has a metal frame on back, however, t is no pin. It was more than likely used in conjunction with a hat pin to embellish a hat or similar accessory. The pins measure from 7/8" to 1 1/2" high and 2 1/4" to 2 3/4" wide . The round piece is 2" in diameter. All are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, etc. Two pins have a tiny round "stone" missing (not at all obtrusive) and one of the same, the "c" portion of the closure has a small break. T are no other missing pieces or damages. An absolutely exquisite lot sure to be treasured by any collector! Low Start Bid ~ No Reserve Happy Bidding and Good Luck!
