For your consideration I have the nicest Miniature Blanket Chest you will ever lay eyes upon. This is Cabinet Maker grade and mid 1800s. This is truely a work of art. The wood is Cherry and Walnut with the drawers being Walnut. T is some Walnut on the lid as well. The Dovetailing is absolutely magnificant. The drawers are Dovetailed front and back with little square nails. (Picture # 6 & 7) The bottom of the drawers are even chamferd. You can also see the little square nails on the bottom of the chest. T IS ABSOLUTELY NO DAMAGE TO THIS FABULOUS MINiATURE CHEST. In picture #10 I tried to show you the little ball feet and the square nails. The one foot looks like it may have been replaced because it is just a tad smaller in diameter than the other three but Oh so very hard to notice. I never saw it at auction and chances are you would not know it if I didn't disclose it. This is no way takes away the value of this great piece. The chest measures 23 1/2" Long, 11 5/8" Wide, 11 1/2" High. The little drawers measure 10" wide, and 2 5/8" high. This is the first time this is being offered. It is directly from an estate sale in Berks County, Pa. If you collect GOOD Antiques, you don't want to miss this one. This is probably museum quality! It is as right as rain!!! Please check my other auctions this week. Payment: I accept paypal, money orders, & personal checks. Money orders and paypal items will be shipped the next day, items payed by check when they clear. Payment must be made within 7 days of auction's close. INSURANCE: For your protection and mine, I am now requiring insurance on all items. T is no point in saving two dollars if your going to loose two hundred do to damaged or lost merchandise. Shipping: Items are shipped within 48hours of payment. I am not responsible for items without insurance. When you don't insure you assume all the risk. I ship USPS Priority mail whenever possible. Shipping will be calculated on this item. Please be advised shipping prices have gone through the roof! I try to ship items priority because it gets to you faster and t is less chance of the item being damaged. Since the rate increase at the PO May 14 prices are very high. I do not make $ on shipping!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Refund Policy: All items are sold as is. Ninety percent of what I sell is from estate sales and is not new. Email with questions before you bid, not after the auction ends.
