Up for bid is an authentic bronze statue by Auguste Moreau, a French sculpture who exhibited his work in Parisian art salons during the 1800s. Titled, "Commerce Maritime," this statue is in very good condition with no dents or scratches. It is approximately 21 inches tall and the base is 7 inches in circumference. The original patina has worn off over time, but it would still make a handsome addition to any home or office. Appraised at $450 in a 1993 estate appraisal, this statue is being sold as is with no warranty expressed or implied.
