Up for auction is an antique 19th century Famille Rose Porcelain Pillow/Headrest. The artistry is wonderful, showing moments out of a Qing or Ming life. The detailing is very good and the colors are clean and sharp. There are marks where the piece sat on the kiln rests and slight loss on 2 corners where the kiln rests sat. There is one chip/crack on one edge (See Photos) that I believe is a kiln flaw/blow out. Other than that this Headrest is in beautiful shape and would be a great addition to any collection.This porcelain was purchased the same time as the last one I sold a couple of weeks ago, only this pillow design is the reverse or mirror image of the other headrest.Dimensions are as follows:Length - 15 cm. or 5 7/8"Width - 12.6 cm. or 4 15/16"Depth - 6.0 cm. or 2 3/8"Good luck in bidding; PeteThe display stand is not included as part of the auction and is not for sale.Be aware that I require insurance on all Items over $20.00 and this cost will be reflected in handling fees.International buyers please note: Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the sale price or shipping costs.
