Up for bid is a fabulous Antique 19th Century Metal and Mohair Velvet and Brass Round Cone-Shape Warrior's Shield; sorry, I do not know its origin. It measures approximately 18" in diameter and 7" deep. It features a mohair velvet covering of heavy metal trimmed in strips of brass; all as shown in the photos which try to show every detail. The velvet is very worn and t are dings in the brass; expected in very old pieces. I found this lovely old warrior shield at a fine old estate sale in Baton Rouge. A wonderful addition to any collection! Being presented for bid with No Reserve! Please email if you have questions.
