ANTIQUE PERSIAN - ARABIC SHAMSHIR SWORD You are bidding on a very attractive antique Persian-Arabic (Possibly 19th Centuary) Shamshir Sword. This Sword measures 37 1/2 inches in length and is made of Damascus Steel. This Sword has attractive gold inlay inscription work on the blade (see photos). The Handle has a unique design and the wire is wrapped tight with no spacing. The Scabbard is slit from the mouth along the spine side to allow the Sword to be placed in it. T he Sword shows some minor wear (nicks) but the overall condition seems to be pretty good (see photos). The Scabbard shows wear with a piece of leather torn but the metal parts still have sharp details (see photos).
