ANTIQUE 19th CENTURY RUDOLSTADT, VOLKSTEDT WINGED CHERUB FIGURINE - ERNEST BOHN? Up for auction is a superb antique fine porcelain figurine of a winged cherub/putti, highlighted with flowers. Produced in the Rudolstadt, Volkstedt region of Germany in the 19th century c1880. Blue Anchor mark to base, possibly Ernest Bohn. Handpainted. High quality, rare piece! Measure 12.5cm (5 inches) long and 10cm (4 inches) high. Very Good overall condition. No damage to cherub, but with some small losses to the flowers around the base and in the ring. These losses do not detract from a stunning high quality figurine. (see photographs) 99p start, no reserve! (Any white marks on the photographs are caused by camera flash and do not appear on the item itself).
