Talk about a hard to find rare antique !!!!! You better sit down for this deal of the century !!!!! This is perhaps the finest teapot ever made by Wedgwood .... Research indicates this is from the 19th century, as the bottom states, " Wedgwood " only ... T is no date or England marking. .. MAKING IT OVER " 100 " YEARS OLD !!!!!!!! Collector's get your books out ... This is a nice valuable piece !!!!!!!! This is a stunning Wedgwood Teapot made with beautiful black basalt ..... It measures close to 5 1/2 x 10, which includes the measurements of the pretty handle and spout. The sides have horse graphics, as I have tried to show in our photos ..... The ridges and textures everyw are simply gorgeous !!!!! .... Although a true antique, and a very desirable rare collectible, please note it does not come with the original lid. Also, t is a tiny rough spot on the tip of the spout. I have tried to show that in the photos as well, but it is very, very hard to see. What a conversation piece !!!
