Offered here a (one of two) antique family portrait of my ancestor. It is in great condition other than the paint crack and lift in center of face as pictured. No paint is missing or chipped. Certainly a 19th century example. Outer dimension measures 36 3/4 x 30" of the 'gold leaf' picture frame. Would be safe to say the frame is newer since it is in perfect condition. This has been in my family thru several generations. My Great " " + Grandparents trace back to the founders of Concord, Massachusetts. A companion painting of his wife is also listed here. Questions welcomed. Due to the size of this large painting it is listed as "pick up only" in Central California.
