Rare Antique 19th C English Porcelain 'Aesop's Fable' Dessert Plate Frogs Heron Description Rare Aesop's Fable Dessert Plate I am today listing a selection of extremely rare high quality 19th Century English Porcelain each piece depicting a different and unique hand coloured etching from the famous Aesop's Fables stories. Part of a larger Dessert Service. Please see my other items to see the other pieces. PLEASE NOTE: If you are considering buying more than one or all of these pieces as one lot and live overseas please email me for a delivery estimate before bidding, as it will be a heavy and large lot which will probably require courier delivery. Insurance will be charged at 5% of the final value of the package which will be declared on the customs form. This plate is decorated with a transfer etching with hand painted colour enamel details. Hand painted blue enamel title on the underside: "The Frogs Who Ask a King". Hand painted pattern number 'B4670' and a registration diamond on each piece. I believe the registration mark dates to 1877 or thereabouts. Condition is very good as outlined above, please study the photos also. Measures 9 inches/23cm in diameter. (I have some other slightly damaged pieces which will also be available to the buyers of these pieces if interested, for the cost of delivery only). I am unable to bank Cheques due to time constraints but you are welcome to bank it for me! OVERSEAS BUYERS: Paypal only, thank you. I will give E-cheques 7 days to clear then your purchase will be cancelled as 'Not Paid'. Shipping Overseas shipping is always 'signed for' which adds at least £5.15 to the normal price of shipping and a further £2.60 is added if the value is over £50 for extra insurance. Combined purchases only attract the one £5.15 'signed for' requirement so big savings can be made on combined purchases. If I overestimate posting for buyers I will refund any overpayment once I have purchased the postage and will email you. Please note Ceramics are never covered by courier or post for damage, only loss. I am very proficient at packing and custom build boxes for each item. I am confident of my packaging and bar it being run over by a bus or jumped on by a crazed maniac you can be certain your item will arrive safely. Unlike some Ebayers I DO NOT make money on postage and often in fact subsidise my buyers. I recycle boxes where possible.
