DESCRIPTION: Gorgeous antique silk embroidery and watercolor sampler picture, one of the best I've ever personally encountered. Unusual in that the needlework is entirely in some type of chenille-type stitch. Comes from a local Dallas estate, reportedly acquired by the previous owner in Europe and I do think this is Continental European, most likely French. Sight size on the embroidery is about 7.5"x10" and the overall size including the frame is about 13.5"x15" (please consider measurements approximate). Guaranteed antique and obviously antique as shown and I would date this ca. the early 1800s. Purchase price includes prompt and free USA shipping and very careful packing. CONDITION: Needlework is antique and in fine condition with no damage of any sort and great color. The frame was in very poor condition when I found this. I had Wildman Art Framing here in Dallas re-frame it in a simple gold frame under glass and with a silk mat. Mat and frame in excellent condition with no issues, but they are modern. Otherwise, nothing to complain about with this piece; ready to hang on the wall and enjoy. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE: I strive for excellent customer service. In almost every instance, items ship within 48 hours of receipt of cleared payment. I offer a "no questions asked" return policy [buyer responsible for shipping, see details read more
