Antique 19thC Cast Iron Sad Iron Laundry Stove, Perfect Album Album Album Album Album Album Album Album ...... Marked on the bottom "Walker & Pratt Mfg. Co. Boston, No. 1." This antique mid-19th century Laundry Stove is made to hold eight Sad Irons around the middle. I have heard these called Tailor Stoves. I have looked this stove over very carefully and I guarantee that t are no breaks or repairs. All the inside grates and lining are still t and are also in very good condition. I do not suggest you could still use this stove, but it has been well taken care of over the years and it is in original untouched condition. The top measures 20 3⁄4" wide by 15 3⁄4" from the front to the back. The round covers measure 8 1⁄4" in diameter and the oval stove pipe opening is 5" by 2 5/8". Overall the height of this antique Laundry Stove is 28" and the base is 17" by 14" across the front. As you might expect this stove is heavy, but we can ship it safely.
