A BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE 19TH CENTURY FRENCH GILT BRASS CASED CARRIAGE ALARM CLOCK c1890. The Clock stands 4 inches high to top of handle. Base measures 2 3/4 x 2 inches. Dial measures 1 1/2 inches in diameter. The case is leather covered, with brass fastening catch. The interior is silk lined. The clock is in Brass with original gilt finish. It has bevelled glass with enamel dial. Pierced decoration to side panels. The Clock and Alarm are not working. They require restoration, unknown what the problem is. The Case is in good condition, general surface wear and tear applies. The clock case and dial are in good condition, with no damage. The winding key is loose, but still fits into movement.
