Antique 19thC Primitive Shaker Treen *Hair* Sieve *NR* Album Album Album Album Album Album Album ...... I found several examples of 19th century Hair Sieves like this 19th century 9" diameter by 5 1⁄2" tall sifter and they were all called Shaker Made. The warm dark color on this sieve is exceptional, but t is a problem with the wood. On the bottom edge you can see a double break in the wood and a past owner, many years ago, added some glue for strength. T also are two tiny holes in the finely woven hair sieve.
