EARLY TURNED HEAD KESTNER DOLL

MADE BY: J.D. KESTNER

GERMANY

CIRCA: LATE 1800'S

A Gorgeous Early Turned Head Kestner Doll. Jenny has a bisque head, and lower arms, with a Kid and Cloth body. She stands 21 1/2" in height. She has what appears to be an original blonde mohair wig, still in the original set. It is clean to the touch. Kestner has her plaster pate, I have not removed her pate or head to look inside. I have looked over her head and I do not see any hairline cracks, damage or repairs. She is marked on the back of her head "J" and low on the plate "Made In Germany".

What a Gorgeous Face! Jenny has lovely pale creamy flesh tone with beautifully blushed cheeks without any rubs. Jenny has brown painted multi-brush stroked eyebrows with Stunning Blue Paper Weight Eyes. Her eyes are set, not on a rocker. Jenny has very delicately painted upper and lower eyelashes. She has an open mouth with four upper teeth showing.

Jenny's kid body shows some wear. T is tape on the kid on her left shoulder and tape on both kids arms. The rest of her kid body looks nice and clean. Her lower legs are cloth, they show a little fauxing and a water stain on the right foot.

Jenny is wearing her vintage under clothing, this is just how she came to me.

With Proper Period Clothing, Jenny Will Be A Stunning Focal Point Of Any Doll Collection .

Look at Jenny Shoes, I think they may be Jumeau. They are made of white kid leather with pink trim. They are marked on the bottom with "8" and both have some writing on the sole by the toe.

THIS IS A 3 DAY AUCTION, DON'T LET JENNY SLIP BY. PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING AND I WILL TRY MY BEST TO ANSWER THEM FOR YOU.

BUYER PAYS $14.00 INSURED PRIORITY SHIPPING.

THANK YOU FOR LOOKING!
