ANTIQUE 24 PIECE FISH CUTLERY BOXED SET SILVER PLATED

This is an impressive 24 piece cutlery boxed set comprising 12 fish knives and 12 fish forks. I think this is possibly Victorian as it is quite ornate. With signs of wear and tear commensurate with age. There are a few scuff marks on the box, which I believe is mahogany and measures 13 x 10 inches approx x 2 inches high. It is inlaid with brass but the key is missing. Inside the box are 2 trays of cutlery - pic 3. It is lined with attractive blue felt fabric which is in good order but needs a clean up. The cutlery itself has lovely twisted handles which I think are bone and intricate cuffs and blades which have an engraved design. Knives measure 8.5 inches long and forks 7.5 inches long. The bone is slightly discoloured in places and the silver plate is worn in places but would no doubt benefit from a good clean up. A stunning set that just needs a little TLC to bring it back to its former glory. Please see my other vintage items - happy to combine postage where possible.
