NO MORE WHEN THESE ARE GONE! G-3 So kids~~ I Just listed every last monster copper kettle I have &&& I can not get any more once the last of these are gone! The Turks have figured out what scrap copper is worth & want to charge me as much as I am asking you for them now! Not to mention that getting shipments out of the Mid East right now is a Customs nightmare! So~~ Grab em while there are still some to grab because once these last few I have listed are gone~~ THERE WILL BE NO MORE! So~~ it's first come, 1st serve & you are going to hate yourself if you don't grab some of these remaining few. I say "few" because what I now have running is "a few" to me as I have sold literally 100's over the years and every buyer was ecstatic! Don't believe me~~ scan through my feedback but once again~~~ get them while you can because I can't ever get anymore when these are gone! This is nice BIG hammered copper cauldron! Measures approx 23 1/2" in diameter at the flared bottom~ the actual opening is 18" in case you are thinking about dropping a pot in it. ;o) Has some pretty cool old iron handles as you can see & it measures approx 29" tip to tip across those handles. Also stands about 13" tall !! It weighs almost 32 lbs before any packing materials and with copper prices doing what they are~ these are not a bad investment at this money!Anyway, it is really cool with lots of primitive "hand hammered" appeal and some age earned patina that I will leave to your discretion. i.e. If you want all shiny~~ you polish it! ;o) I have been told that these were made in Turkey & that they were used as dye pots for dying fabrics. Most are tin or lead lined & they were used for boiling fabric dyes SO~~ NO~~ they are not for cooking and NO~~ I did not check them for pin hole leaks. If you want something to cook in that's absolutely positively water tight~~ get yourself down to the Walmart store! These are sold for their magnificent & large antique astetic "age earned patina" qualities. They are great for giant planters or for holding firewood or whatever your little heart desires BUT~~ they are not for cooking in! I do my very best through pictures and verbal description to point out anything that I see on them but then again~~ any "age earned patina" or old repairs simply add to their charm just as much as their hand hammered patina as far as I am concerned. So take a look & grab some of them if ya can while there's still some to grab because, like I said~~ THIS IS THE VERY LAST OF THEM! These things are hand hammered & hand made and they are BIG and I have never had a dissatisfied customer! Lots of repeat customers but no unhappy ones. :O) Shipping can be figured to you with the calculator below. Just enter your zip code & viola~~~ there's your choices and prices. Sorry~~ those scary figures are compliments of our current greedy oil mongers & carriers (i.e. UPS!). I'm charging you what they charge me & I get a discount & I supply the packing materials! I have put together stacks before for customers who bought 2 or 3 that would stack inside each other to save shipping fees. UPS actually charges much more by the size of the parcel rather than by the weight. ;o) So take a look & grab some of them if ya can while there's still some to grab because I am about out of them! These things are hand hammered & hand made and they are BIG and I have never had a dissatisfied customer! Lots of repeat customers but no unhappy ones. :O) I do not test these to see if they have any leaks~~ would run my water bill out of this world! Not to mention the time and labor involved filling a batch of them with 20 or 30 gallons of water & then trying to dump that back out! These things are heavy enough as it is without 100 lbs of water in them! ;o) Shipping can be figured to you with the calculator below. Just enter your zip code & viola~~~ there's your choices and prices. Sorry~~ those scary figures are compliments o...
