Antique 3 Pc. French Louis XVI Painted & Needlepoint Parlor Set You are bidding on an Antique 3 piece French Louis XVI Sofa Parlor Setee and 2 matching Bergere Club Chairs, Circa 1920, made in France. All three pieces have a creamy off white painted finish with gold accents. Every piece is covered with the ORIGINAL hand stitched needlepoint upholstery, all depicting period romantic scenes and has brass tacked nailhead trim going throughout the edges. The legs are beautifully curved French Cabriole Legs with scrolled feet and at the top of the legs are beautifully carved rosette floral motif painted in a soft pink with green and blue scroll and leaf details, as the pictures shows. The arm rests are curved, carved and slightly scrolled designs at the top. The top of each chair and settee have a beautiful double carved rosette shaped motif as well as on the front of the chairs. These pieces are in VERY NICE, lightly used condition. No stains or damage to the upholstery on front or back of any piece. This would be a lovely addition to any French Romantic Décor. Dimensions are as follows, loveseat measures 34 ½" tall by 46 ½" wide and seat depth is 20 ½", seat height is 17". The 2 arm chairs measure 34 ½ tall by 23 ½" wide and seat depth is 19", seat height is 17 ½". THIS SET IS GORGEOUS! One you are sure to enjoy for years to come.
