I always wanted to bring this cuckoo clock to its former beauty. I will pass the pleasure to younger collectors with good eyesight, time & steady hands. It is a large 3 weights clock. The chains are t 14" tall, 7" wide, 5 1/2" deep. The movement is large & seems to be quite complicated for a cuckoo. 2 hammers, 3 sets of bellows, meaning 2 different birds with different songs. T are the remnants of a paper label on the back. You will need: 3 weights, the acorn type, a wooden dial, hands, pendulum & the knowledge of what has to be done. Part of the front ornament is t, a gun & a game back. The top is missing probably birds, antlers, who knows.??? A great winter project & winter is coming fast. Should turn into a beautiful thing.
