This auction is for 6 Antique ROSENTHAL Hand Painted SIGNED FOOTED BOWLS / CUPS with violets. These delicate little pieces are less than 3' in diameter each. They are hand painted and so t are charming variations in the colors and shapes of the Violets as well as the degree of the soft blush wash that is in the backgrounds. Interiors are a pale yellow that also varies in intensity from one to the next. Beautiful reminders of a gentler time and place. Well marked on the bottoms with the mark dating them to between 1890 - 1910. All are in very good antique condition with only one of the six having any flaw that I can see. That single flaw is the presence of a rim chip on one of the ruffled edges - shown in a close up in the last photo. Other than that, I see no other chips, cracks, nicks or paint loss. Please look carefully at the photo(s), and feel free to ask for additional photos. A picture is worth a thousand words and we try to take accurate and revealing photos. We will not PhotoShop a picture to remove flaws. We want to make sure that if t are any flaws, they will be revealed. We will describe any actual flaws - nicks, chips, cracks, scratches, rips, tears, that we are aware of. Since I am also a human being, I may unintentionally miss something, and since the eye of the camera is better than mine, we will be using the picture-pack on many items, which allows you to see enlarged photos. We encourage you to inspect the photos closely and ask questions if something needs clarification. DISCLAIMER We list items in many categories and are not experts on such a wide variety of items. Many of our items are Antiques or Vintage, which means they will be in Antique or Vintage condition, with a normal amount of wear. REFUNDS ARE AVAILABLE ONLY IF ITEM IS MIS-REPRESENTED.
