This is an original Flint and Horner Mahogany Nine (9) Piece Dining Room Set. It is absolutely exceptional and it is in the original finish so that patina is lovely. This is the dining table, leaves, six (6) chairs, sideboard and china cabinet that is original and complete to this outstanding set. The metal tag is t that reads: Flint Fine Furniture Flint & Horner Co., Inc. New York Founded 1840. T are Six (6) chairs with two (2) armed chairs and four (4) single chairs. Upholstery is good but needs a cleaning . Each piece of this Dining Set is Exceptional and could stand alone as a Quality work of Furniture Art. The Sideboard is Wonderful with it's Concave sides Shaped top and Fantastic Carved and Turned Legs and Whimsical Stretcher Base.This piece alone in some Prestiege Auctions would easily command more than our modest Reserve that we have placed on the entire set.T is a Blind Door China Cabinet and it is in wonderful condition except for one tiny chip off of one corner. This piece,as with the Sideboard,could stand alone The Doors on the China Cabinet and Sideboard,which are curved, are Intricut Handcut Inlay Wood fronts with lovely lion head brass hardware that is original to it. The dining table is in great condition except for a stain on the top that could be covered with a table cloth or touched up by a good refinesher and the leaves have some minor scratches from storage. I am sure this could be just cleaned up with Old English Furniture Polish. The table is 79" long, 128" with leaves, 30" tall and 45" wide. Two (2) - 24" leaves that attach on end supports. Sideboard is 90" long, 23" deep and 39" tall. Blind Door China Cabinet is 50" wide, 58" wide and 19" deep. The Arm Chairs are 48" tall, 28" wide and 18" deep. The Side Chairs are 46" tall, 22" wide and 18" deep This set is exceptional in craftsmanship, style and quality. I have done my best to describe this piece as accurately as I can, tfore all sales are final. Refunds are considered if you feel that this item has been grossly misrepresented.
