This is a really great old saddle. Made by DW Hornor in Heppner, Oregon. Probably built around 1890 or so. I know Hornor was still in business in Heppner in 1902. This saddle is mostly original with a few additions. The seat had been redone with brown suede and a little padding. The saddle strings have been replaced, the horn has been recovered, and the stirrup leathers have been replaced. The skirts and fenders are all original. As well as the the cantle and pommel. New Sheepskin has also been added. This saddle is still safe to ride, the rigging is original, but is still in good shape. It should fit any standard size quarter horse, but may require some creative padding. Saddles this old were built for a more narrowly framed horse. Please feel free to ask me any questions! Thanks for looking and good luck!! I prefer PayPal, but will accept cashier's check or Money order. No personal checks. This is an old saddle and due to its size, it is not cheap to ship. This will be an As Is sale and no returns unless I send you something other than this saddle. Will Ship to lower 48 and Canada. Also, I will add insurance for no extra charge in the amount of the next 100 dollars the saddle sells for. Example: Selling price of $201.00, I will insure for $300.00.
