Up for your consideration today is a Antique Adjustable/Folding Cast Iron/Wood Student Desk/Lectern Industrial Age Vtg Steampunk On stand/wheels! I purchased this at a local Estate sale along with MANY other vintage kitchen/farm items and such, please check out my other auctions for combined shipping! This is one of the most unusual child's school desk's I have come across!!! It comes in 2 pice's that slide together. Not only does it fold up, it has an adjustable height bar (please see tall picture), the top wood section also sways front to back and up and down! The stand is in great working condition and really nice. It has 2 legs that are stationary and 2 with wheels to move it around. The top wood section measures 23 38" Long X 15" tall. Overall when shown folded it measures 29" tall X 23 1/2" wide. The adjustable section stands 40" tall! Making it a lecture style desk also! The possibilities are endless for the use's for this piece! I do not know it's age, but I would guess it is the early 1900's! I have not cleaned it, it will need a light cleaning before use.
