ALthough severly damaged, this is still a unique antique advertising sign from either Montgomery Ward, Sears & Roebuck or possibly even Levi's. No markings anywhere other than the slogan... "All Goods Warranted To Never Rip" "Easy Fitting Pants" ****** Roughly 15" x 18" on paper originally glued onto 3/16" cardboard backer. ***** Exact age is unknown but guessing late 1890's to early 1910's. ***** As stated and as shown, it does have some significant damage. It was obviously trimmed years ago. Probably cut out of a wood or metal display frame. It also looks like it was cut with a box cutter and then thru the years it has been bent back and forth revealing the cardboard sub-surface. It is still all in one piece and only missing a few areas along the rough fold crease. I think it has some old wire loops embedded in it to prevent further damage. Although it does need some attention, in my opinion, once professionally cared for and framed, this will be a really nice addition to any advertising sign collection. ***** *** PAYMENT IS DUE WITHIN 24 to 48 HOURS *** If payment and or contact is not made within that time frame, I will send a reminder.
