This is a very, very rare lamp.....This was Aladdin's first model lamp, Model #1, made in 1909 using the "Plume and Atwood" lamp as a base with the Aladdin name (Mantle Lamp co., Chicago) ....This has the correct mantle adjusting knob (has the bare back, NO made in USA) with the set mechanism on the shaft (screw missing), the unique burner and gallery, the "flower" pattern filler cap with vent hole and unique air distributor assembly.....This is the only aladdin that had the inner drought tube with "y" braces inside....This is the "Fount" (wall or ceiling hanging) style lamp and has the correct bottom skirt. The missing parts on this lamp are the bottom plate, the button generator and the small knurled set screw for the adjuster knob.....and of course, the chimney (these parts come up on the internet occasionally)...and a small dent on one side (looks larger in photo than it really is).....This is being sold as a non-working parts lamp......
