This is a very special and unique antique Alaskan Tlingit heart shaped whale bone necklace!!!!!!!! First of all it was given to my mother by Cecilia Kunz, An elder who spent most of her life in Juneau Alaska. She was considered by many a matriarch of Juneau. Her father was Tlingit Chief Kaagwaantaan, Of the wolf clan. Cecilia was a member of the Alaskan Sisterhood. My mother met with her often while on conference, They worked on several issues concerning the Alaskan people.This unique Alaskan Tlingit necklace measures 24" long and each heart is one inch wide........... My mother worked for the Alaskan federation Of Natives for twenty five years. I have not put a reserve hoping only knowledgable and serious bidders will prevail..............................
