I am listing a nice group of Various Antique Items this week as time permits. is a Great Antique NEEDLEWORK SAMPLER of U.S. FLAG with motto "LONG MAY IT WAVE." . Framed in what appears to be it's Original Turn-of-the-Century Gilded Frame under Old Glass. Entire piece is 12-1/4" x 10-5/16". Great Needlework and Great Frame as well! T is even a layer of gold foil underneath the Needlework panel for a sparkling effect in the background. I found this piece in an historic antique home in Holliston, MA near my home. Needlework is mostly clean-looking with some very mild and subtle brown spots around edges- not even as obvious as my photos show. Stitchwork is in excellent condition.
