Fine quality, antique, American, figured mahogany, marble top console table, circa 1870 , of the quality of Meeks, Belter etc. Antique, American, marble top, mahogany console table cica 1870. To the top is the original serpentine shaped black & white variegated marble, below is a carved cartouche with a carved shield in the center, the table stands on four outswept legs at the top of each leg is a carved floral frieze. To the base is a shaped stretcher, the feet have carved acanthus leaves and scrolled feet, the quality of this table is excellent, whilst not marked it is of the sort of quality of Meeks, Belter or similar manufacturer. The table is in good original condition, all original finish, d imensions; 56" tall x 20.5" deep x 38" wide deep when closed. A fine antique, American, mahogany marble top console table circa 1870.
