We are pleased to offer this wonderful lighthouse pewter coffeepot. It was manufactured in Maine between 1840 and 1870 by the firm of Rufus Dunham. The piece is in great condition, no dents or repairs. It is approximately 9" wide by 12" tall, the base is 6.25" in diameter. The touch, located on the underside of the pot is "R. Dunham". Additionally, "Hail Britania: Maine Pewter and Silverplate" by Churchill illustrates the form on page 25 and places the form under the firm R. Dunham and Sons, however is clearly has an earlier touch mark. T is a modest reserve. Good Luck and thanks for looking.
