Large & fine, antique, Victorian, oak entertainment armoire/wardrobe circa 1880 . Antique, American, solid oak armoire circa 1880, perfect to be used an entertainment armoire. To the top is a very ornate bonnet or cornice, with lots of appliqued carving, below are a pair of doors, each door has the same appliqued carving at the top, each door has a shaped and beveled mirror. To the center and side of each door t are 'barley twist' columns with turned finials, the base has two short drawers and one bowed long drawer, all the brass hardware is original, as is the finish, condition is very good. T his is a large piece of furniture at; 93.5" tall x 53" wide x 18" deep, the armoire separates into two sections, in the center t is a shelf perfect height for a large TV up to 52" wide, t is space below for stereo equiptment etc. This is a fine antique American oak armoire circa 1880.
