Beautiful Antique Oak Sideboard and Curio. Early 1900's. This lovely and versatile sideboard/curio item has an excellent display area and ample storage space for hard to store items. It's eye catching in any room of your home. 4' length x 5'2" height ( at highest point) x 17 1/4' deep I have displayed china, dolls, collectibles, Santas, Easter items, Halloween decor, collections of family pictures and baby items over the years. Four wooden adjustable shelves are located on the right side. Glass runs the length of the righthand side and front. Glass measures 10'5" on the right and left sides and 13.5" on the front panel. The front glass panel is the door to the interior shelving. A glass panel is on the lefthand side from the top drawer of the buffet and matches the glass height of the other two display sides. Two drawers measuring 27.5"x 4" x 14" are under the buffet area. The hardware is a double pull. I have used these drawers for silverware, candles, placemats and tableclothes. The bottom drawer is carved and has a single knob pull. It measures 27"x 19". This is a large, deep cavity that holds vases, urns, platters, tall candlesticks and large, hard to store items. The top of the sideboard has a long display shelf that runs the item's length. Notice the simple carving. T is one delicate spindle that supports the top display shelf to the buffet area w the mirror sets. T is a lock for a key on the bottom drawer an on the front of the glass curio. I have never owned the key to this item. I have never reglazed the mirror or replaced the hardware. This piece if footed and very heavy! Pickup only. Thank you for looking!
