This is an antique Anchor Brand Family Clothes Wringer, patented in 1896, # 791. It was manufactured in Erie, PA. All the parts are functional, albeit a bit worn (How you gonna look at 100???). It is filled with written advertising, patent #'s , and guarantees. Overall, the wringer has good finish left on it. I personally do not ever touch these pieces of American history, but this could easily be refinished if that is what you want to do. It is heavy (approx. 18Lbs), and measures 17" tall, 15" wide without handle, 28" wide with handle, and 7 1/2" deep. The brackets are t for attaching to a wooden or metal tub. With the tub it makes a beautiful planter; without it, a wondrous stand-alone piece of Americana! It is truly a nice early specimen of manual machinery for clothes washing Payment by PayPal or money order is accepted. Shipping will be actual cost, with a small handling charge added. I will be removing the handle, if I can, for ease of shipping. Look carefully at the pictures; they will tell you everything!!! Good Luck!!
