Description

This is a an ancient bronze Buddha statue with gold-gild from China.It was well kept in a ancient temple for 100 years. A Bodhisattva is a person who is enlightened, but he tries everything to help and teach ordinary people. The female version Tara first occurred in the 6th century and the name Tara which means "star", derives from the Sanskrit word "redeem" and is translated into "savior". In legend Tara arose form the tears of the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara as he wept about the suffering of the world.
