Here you have an antique Anheuser Busch advertising time/strike clock (strikes the hour, but NOT the half hour). The info I got on this clock was that it was circa 1910...I have no way to confirm it, but now you know what I know :)It measures approximately 24" high and 10 1/2" wide. The only damage I see is the crack the wood where the face attaches on the lower right of the clock face (see the photo with the works removed. I don't see a makers mark on the works, but the combination of steel and brass would be consistent with a time period close to the war effort. There isn't a label on the clock either. The clock face shows signs of use...but overall is in good condition.I put the clock on my wall to test it and it ran 6 days. I think all it needs to run a full 8 days would be a little oil...which I have added and have it back up running again. Please email me with any question, thank you for your interest, and !!! (UPDATED 06/01/13) Turns out the suspension spring was too short and running WAY fast, and that was why it only ran 6 days (it probably ran for more than 8 days of clock time). So I found the correct length suspension spring and it has been running like a champ and keeping great time. Of course if you have any questions feel free to email them to me!!!
