This lovely little antique Ansonia mantel clock measures approximately 5-1/4" W (at the base), 4-3/4" H X 1-3/4" D. The 1-day (probably) wind-up movement appears to be all t, but is "wound tight" and is not currently working. The wind-up key is a replacement. The paper dial is signed with the Ansonia trademark and words, "Manufactured by the Ansonia Clock Co. New York United States of America". The movement is housed in a ceramic case with the Royal Bonn trademark on the rear. The rear of the case is stamped with an indistinct seal, "1309" and "OK" in the china, and it has the numbers "3244", "4800" and "149" written inside. The beveled glass cover and the case are in excellent condition, with the case having no chips or cracks and minimal crazing. All in all, a very nice addition to someone's collection. Thanks for looking and good luck in your bidding.
